Since its foundation in 1936, Girton Golf Club has been a proud member-run club, offering golfers of all abilities a friendly and challenging environment. Our well-established par-69, 6044-yard course plays tougher than its length, providing an engaging test of skill for every golfer. From the red tees, the course measures 5418 yards at par 71.

Active Sections for Every Golfer
Our five active sections, Men’s, Women's/Ladies, Men’s Seniors, Men’s Scratch and Juniors, offer opportunities for both friendly and competitive golf. Each section runs Open Golf sessions, allowing golfers without regular partners to get a game and meet like-minded players. Our Junior Section is growing rapidly and has recently been awarded SafeGolf Accreditation, reflecting our commitment to a safe and supportive environment for young golfers.
We recently engaged a golf architect to improve the course, and much of this work is now complete. The course is a visual delight, with mature trees, flowering shrubs bordering fairways, and abundant wildlife, including our famous black squirrels. Plans for further enhancements are underway, including lengthening the course and increased challenges for golfers seeking an even-more demanding experience.
Girton Golf Club is a premier venue for society golf days and corporate and social events in Cambridgeshire. Our clubhouse features a full bar and catering facilities, capable of hosting social events of up to 100 people.
