Our Junior Section is a welcoming, friendly community that’s always open to new golfers. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on your skills, you’ll find plenty of encouragement and support. We host monthly competitions designed to help juniors gain experience and confidence on the course, and we offer lots of guidance for getting your first handicap and improving it over time.
It’s a great place to learn, grow, and enjoy golf alongside others who share your enthusiasm.
I am one of the Club Professionals at Girton, and recently joined the club. I will be running Group sessions for our Juniors every week and look forward to getting to know all the Juniors, and helping them gain confidence to enter club medals, competitions and in time inter club matches.
As Junior Captain my main goal is to represent the junior section and act as a role model for aspiring young golfers. I look forward to participating in events and competitions, welcoming new junior members and creating an encouraging and friendly environment.
If you’re new to golf and don’t yet have a handicap, you’ll need to complete our Academy pathway before joining. During winter, this consists of four 30-minute one-to-one lessons for £75. From March 2026, when our Sunday group classes resume, the requirement will change to six group classes, also priced at £75.
