For juniors under 18 years old.

Getting Started & Obtaining a Handicap:

Junior members are encouraged to obtain a golf handicap as soon as they are ready. Having a handicap allows you to get the most out of your membership, including access to club matches, competitions and medal events, subject to the relevant entry requirements.

Please note that junior membership does not automatically provide unrestricted access to the course or online tee-time booking. Juniors who do not yet hold a handicap must contact the Club by telephone to arrange their tee times.

Tee-Time Bookings & BRS Access:

Juniors without a handicap: Must book by telephone.

BRS online booking access: Available to boys with handicaps of 28 or below and girls with handicaps of 36 or below.

If you are unsure whether you are eligible to book online or when you can play, please contact the Club team before making your plans.

Playing restrictions apply to juniors with higher handicaps:

Boys with handicaps of 28 or below / Girls with handicaps of 36 or below:
- No restrictions.

- Boys with handicaps of 29 or above / Girls with handicaps of 36 or above:
- During November to March, play is permitted after 12 noon.
- During April to October, play is permitted after 1pm, unless accompanied by an adult. Juniors with the required handicaps may play in major competitions and medals.


- Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult when participating in these competitions.
- Juniors under 16 cannot sign in visitors at the reduced junior green fee rate.
- Juniors cannot sign in guests who do not hold a handicap.

Girton Golf Club is a Registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), promoting accessible golf for all:

* Play on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
* Eligible for those on low to modest incomes
* Attain a handicap and compete in club competitions
* Access all social events and member meetings with full voting rights
