Girton Golf Club has a thriving community of Open Golf Groups, all run by a dedicated group of members. These are a great way of getting to know people if you are new to the club, or even if you are already a member, but want to find other playing partners.

We have a very informative information leaflet in Golf Reception if you would like to know more about each group, but as a summary - the Open Groups have blocks of tee times - and members can just book themselves into a tee slot, and turn up 15 minutes before the 1st tee slot time, whereby most groups will randomly select playing partners for that day. Each group may have a small fee (usually between £1/£2) which makes it a little more competitive when playing. The groups are as follows:
