I am delighted and honoured to be the Mens Captain of Girton Golf club for 2024
On behalf of the members of, and all at Girton Golf Club, it is my pleasure to offer you a very warm welcome to our club. We're a family friendly club where all are welcome, golfers and non golfers alike.
Girton Golf Club is situated just outside Cambridge and has been a member run club since 1936. Our course is a well established 18 hole course with plenty of trees and bunkers to present a challenge to golfers of all abilities.
At our club, we have four active sections all offering friendly competition golf including mixed competitions, and for those new to golf, or without regular partners - we have friendly open/roll up golf where new friendships can be forged while honing your skills.
There's always a warm welcome at the club from members, the Golf Reception and our resident professional Paul Trujillo, through to our catering team led by Nick Cooke, who are always on hand to provide a warm or cold drink and an assortment of food and snacks to keep you going before, during and after your round.

Mens Captain 2024
At Girton Golf Club we have a very active and friendly Womens section and new members are made very welcome and support is tailored to suit each person's individual needs.
There is an abundance of opportunities tom play either competitive or fun golf. We run Trophy competitions, medals, stablefords, foursomes, and a variety of fun events.
We participate in several County competitions, throughout the season a wonderful team spirit and display of camaraderie is very evident during these matches.
In addition to all these matches we play numerous friendlies against other clubs both home and away providing an ideal opportunity to play different courses.
We also support 9 hole competitions for those that do not wish to play 18 holes.
We are always looking for new members to join our friendly womens section, and you will be assured of a warm welcome.
Ladies Section 2024
Welcome to the Seniors Section of Girton Golf Club. I am honoured to be this year's Senior Captain and look forward to an exciting year ahead with a full calendar of competitions, friendly inter-club matches, away days and roll-ups. We are always delighted to welcome new players whether you are new to golf or an experienced player.
There are activities planned every week throughout the year which will give you opportunities for making new friends and playing competitive or social golf. The Seniors Section at Girton has been expanding recently and several new initiatives have proved to be very popular, resulting in more than 80- different people participating in the events organised by the seniors section last year.
